Workshop Description (1 Day)
The objective of this workshop is to introduce the student to the basics of rug hooking. It is hoped that by the end of the day, you will have enjoyed what you learned, and be ready to take on another project and learn more techniques. Your future could include purchasing patterns from an incredibly wide variety available, or designing your own piece. You could embrace learning various hooking techniques and the use of alternative fibres to better express yourself. You can hook rugs, carpet bags or purses, footstools, etc. And you might try any of a wide variety of finishing options.
